Not many updates recently, been busy with work and the small addition, who is now four and a half months old!! Updated those pics of the new rig, those old shots looks shocking there was no cable management going on! I've since rebuilt it twice after cleaning and each time the cable management has got better. To a point now where I do not think it can get any better although these updated shots are before the final build. :)
On 28th August 2011 @ 3pm exactly and weighing 6lb 14.5oz, little Chloe was born into this world. These past weeks have been hard work but worth every precious moment. Would not swap it for the world! :)))
Just to say merry xmas and happy new year to everyone. I know.. I know, I been slacking on the updates lately, I'm not dead, just lots happening in real life. Like.. new job, finally updating my rig after 6 years and expecting a new addition to the family!
But first.. new rig info, I went from having:
Windows XP Pro (SP3)
AMD Athlon 3000+ (2Ghz single core)
MSI 6471 (ver 1.0) Mobo
1.5Gb of PC 3200 DDR (400Mhz)
Saphire HD3650 (AGP)
Soundblaster live 1024
Seagate 160Gb IDE HD.
With a few other ancient bits and bobs to:
Microsoft® Windows® 7 Home Premium
Intel® Core™ i7 930 Quad Core - 2.8GHz - 8MB L3 Cache (4 Cores - 8 Threads)
Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R - Ultra Durable Mobo - DDR3, USB3.0
Antec Dark Fleet DF30 Mid Tower Gaming Chassis, Black Mesh, Blue LED advanced cooling
775W Thermaltake Toughpower XT Modular Power Supply
6GB (3x2GB) Corsair XMS3 DDR3 1600MHz Memory Kit
2Gb GDDR5 Nvidia Geforce GTX 460 SONIC (PALIT) PCI-E Graphics Card
Corsair A50 Custom cooler
Creative X-Fi Extreme Audio Soundcard *coughs.. eww*
500GB Western Digital Caviar Blue SATA 2 HD - 7200RPM - 16MB Cache
24x SATA Sony Optiarc DRU-875S DVD±RW 8x Dual Layer & RAM with LightScribe
And yes all my previous work was created on the old rig. *GASP* Will be interesting to see what I can do on the new one, although there is still a couple of things I need to do, like purchase an Asus Xonar sound card.. the X-Fi Xtreme Audio in it at the moment I got from a friend and has to be the worst card ever invented. Anyway more on that later.
Some pics of the new beast. (Updated 14-12-2011)

Another track finished. This time it's a 136bpm trance track called "Rise above it". You can listen to it on the music page and remember... don't just party.. rise above it and PARTY!!
Just finished work on a new track called "This is Life", it's a drum and bass track coming in at around 174 BPM.
